Western Australia's Government is considering increasing development along the state's coastline, and possibly opening the Abrolhos Islands to visitors.
There may be towns developed along the South Coast, and the future of Coral Bay in the Gascoyne region will be under scrutiny.
Deputy Premier Kim Hames says he is expecting resistance to the plans to expand Coral Bay.
He said it is a big state and it is reasonable to look at what opportunities can be provided for all to enjoy.
